MOTORMANIA & Cadillac Cafe
MOTORMANIA is situated on the roundabout on State Highway 1, housed in one of the most unique buildings in New Zealand, a 1960’s architectural wonder of concrete arches and wonderful natural lighting.
Discover a display of 1950’s and 60’s vehicles and memorabilia all set out in an ever-changing display that depicts this lovely peaceful, trouble free era. Connected to this popular attraction is a 50’s and 60’s rock and roll Cadillac Cafe. This too is adorned with pictures of the old greats such as Marilyn Munro, Elvis Presley, and Marlon Brando with rock and roll music coming from an old jukebox, which you can select yourself. A Cadillac couch in place completes the nostalgic feel.
